Shore Town, a new body of work by South African photographer Padraic O’Meara, is informed by the convergence of the beach, as well as the convergence inherent to the era into which he was born, when the tide of colonial, apartheid South Africa began to recede and a new, free, and complicated country was left in its wake.
Volumes Volumes is an artist-run publishing project for poetry, artworks, lists, translations, and essays. Works are published in a form that befits their content, and are produced by machine and hand, in studios in Portland and Oakland. Started in 2016 by Vanessa Kauffman Zimmerly and Mia Nolting.
